Wisconsin STEM Summit -Kalahari Resort and Convention Center, Wisconsin Dells, WI

Funded by the Amgen Foundation, these unique video and interactive resources bring to life the emerging field of biotechnology for middle and high students, going beyond scientific theory to show the tools and techniques used to develop new biotechnology applications and products. The collection incorporates aspects of chemistry, genetics, and cell biology, easily mapping on to existing curriculum standards. UW-Madison Science Alliance has an on-line course on Global and Regional Climate Change where anyone can log on, work through the course and then get a certificate of completion indicating that they spent 20 hours learning the material. UW-Madison Climate Literacy Ambassadors
The Climate Literacy Ambassadors program is a collaborative effort to advance climate literacy led by the Cooperative Institute of Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
As part of a larger NASA-UW project, teachers can attend a 1-day workshop and takethe on-line class for credit through the UW and earn a stipend that offsets the cost of the credit. For more information visit their website.

CASE provides instruction on 21st-century learning tools and strategies for teachers & scientists and engineers (S&Es) so that the two can work collaboratively within school systems. CASE's unique training strategy teams the educator and the STEM professional so that they benefit from one another's perspectives, experience and expertise. In particular, the S&Es bring the "real world" point-of-view to the classroom.
Engineering Expo DaysEngineering Expo is a three day event held
