Toshibe Logo
Toshiba America Foundation - The foundation makes grants to support teaching of mathematics and science. For Grades 6-12, applications for grants of less than $5,000 are accepted on an ongoing basis. Requests for more than $5,000 must be
submitted by February 1 or August 1.

Toyota Tapestry Grants (Science Teachers - NSTA)Toyota Logo
Grants will go to teams of teachers who have developed innovative programs that have enhanced science education. Toyota will award 50 grants of $10,000. The deadline to apply is February 23.

Ashland Community FoundationAshland Logo
Each year, approximately half of Ashland's contributions target education-related activities. The support covers a wide range of quality education and lifelong learning projects.

Eli Lilly FoundationLily Logo
The Eli Lilly Foundation is working to improve student performance in math and science in Grades K-12 in the United States. There is a heavy focus on Indiana, the company's home.

Lawrence Foundation
The Lawrence Foundation is focused on making grants to support environmental, education, human services, and other causes. Deadlines are April 30 and November 5.

Teacher's Pet (grant tip geared specifically toward teachers' smaller projects)

This grant recognizes the need to increase focus on basic, one-time project needs. Deadline is February 18.

The STEM Scholars Program

Description: The STEM Scholars Program is a five-year program that annually awards 10 renewable scholarships to incoming freshmen or transfer students of approximately $3,800, increasing the group to 40 students in years four and five. Eligible students must select a major offered in the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science,

Description: The Northrop Grumman Foundation provides support for education opportunities to the nation’s youth. The foundation is committed to supporting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs that span pre-college through collegiate levels. It contributes various amounts to organizations defined as tax exempt under Section 501(c) (3) by the Internal Revenue Service.

Science and Technology Online Activity Packs

Description: PBS Teachers offers online science and technology activity packs for K-12 teachers. These activity packs provide a set of educational resources focused on oceans, technology and ethics, forensic science, and Earth Day. They are packaged in a widget format that teachers can embed in their own class or social media web page. Each pack includes links to PBS web sites and a set of activities by grade level. They offer lessons on breakthroughs in medical research, weather, Earth Day, innovation and invention, and forensic science.

Description: Motorola Enterprise Mobility Business and Symbol Technologies offer diversity grants for innovative educational programs that promote math, science, engineering, and technology (STEM). Programs must target one or more of the following under-represented groups: African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, people with disabilities, gays and lesbians, Asian Americans, women, and Indigenous/Native populations. Organizations must meet be a 501(c) (3) or be a publicly funded academic institution.
