WISTEM.org has gathered a number of organizations who are interested in creating a way for educators and workforce partners to collaborate on building tomorrows STEM workforce and helping adults connect to the learning opportunities needed to enter STEM occupations.

Our solution is to create a web-portal clearinghouse system "for all things STEM" in Wisconsin. The WISTEM.org portal is envisioned as a site that would serve as a one-stop virtual forum for three key stakeholders: K-12 educators, post-secondary educators, and STEM workforce partners. The mission is to connect these key stakeholders in coordinating STEM educational and career opportunities in their local communities and throughout Wisconsin.

The WISTEM.org portal will support young people as well as adults interested in pursuing STEM careers by linking them to supportive role models, excellent instruction and training, and access to real world applications and research opportunities.

Clearly, the most innovative aspect of the WISTEM.org portal is that it will address Wisconsin's STEM challenge by linking key stakeholders and offering a one-stop resource for finding comprehensive and current information on all STEM programming efforts.
